Environment

Sustainable building and a respect for the environment are guiding principles for Bouygues Construction group and GFC Construction.

ISO 14 001 certified, GFC Construction is committed to limiting the environmental impact of all of its activities, be it at the design stage, on its worksites, in its offices, or while travelling.

The building permit for the Stade Vélodrome was the object of an environmental impact study and a public enquiry, during which the importance of the matter was emphasised again.

An assessment of the sensitivity of the environment and any activities on the Stade Vélodrome worksite involving risk was carried out with the aim of identifying elements of the project with a potential environmental impact, and also of putting in place an action plan for the following areas:

  • Making partners aware of risks posed by hazardous products
